PTR Lifesaving® offers a wide range of phosphorescent markers for shipping, In accordance with the solas convention, the imo resolution and iso 17631. According to the solas convention, the markings identify the position of the rescuer equipment must be manufactured in accordance with International Law Maritime organization (IMO). Markings must refer to symbols on life insurance equipment recommended by the IMO.
According to IMO regulations, low light systems (lll) are mandatory and also Recommended by ISO. As specified in the Solas Convention, ships carrying passengers must be fitted with Low-voltage electrical or phosphorescent signs and if it carries more than 36 passengers these regulations apply to crew accommodation. Concerning the evaluation, testing and application of low markings location according to the IMO decision, all (lll) systems must test it their brightness at least once every five years.
