Swift Water Rescue Vest “SWRV” Tether

Heavy-duty carabiner and stainless steel D-ring for right or left shoulder placement
1. Install the larger wrap on the back of the Swift Water Rescue vest. Place it at the lower half of the vertical strap, above the rescue belt.
2. With the non-coated side facing out, wrap around the strap. Connect the hook and loop. Push the longer tab under, and through to the other side.
3. Fold the tether in half (A), then in half again (B). Make sure there are no twists in the strap.
4. Place the folded tether in-line with the vertical strap. Bring the hook end around the tether and connect to the loop on back. Connect the carabiner to the D-ring on the rescue belt.
5. Attach the smaller wrap around the tether and vertical strap. Connect the hook and loop behind the vertical strap. The tether will be able to slide out of the wraps when pulled on the D-ring.
